1988 CAL 28

This 1988 CAL 28 is a well-maintained fiberglass sailing yacht with a 9-foot beam, powered by a 16 hp Yanmar diesel engine. Having spent its life in freshwater, the boat shows solid care throughout. The non-skid deck and exterior surfaces are in good condition, with the hull sides and transom recently refinished and professionally waxed.

Below deck, the teak and holly cabin sole was refinished in 2021 and remains in excellent condition. That same year brought several upgrades: a new Lewmar forward hatch, a Jabsco pump toilet, and fresh interior cushions. The engine received a recent inspection in June 2024 and is mechanically sound.

Recent work completed in August 2025 includes a complete exterior teak refinish, a three-step professional wash, buff, and wax of the hull sides and transom, a new bottom paint, a new bilge pump, and a new battery charger. Interior spaces were also given a thorough cleaning below deck.
