This 53-foot Jespersen Peterson is a custom Doug Peterson design, built by Bent Jespersen in Sidney, B.C. for fast cruising and extended offshore passages. The composite hull carries a single 100-horsepower Volvo diesel engine, delivering a cruising speed of 8 knots with a maximum speed of 10 knots. The beam of 14 feet provides a stable platform for the yacht's intended role as both a serious cruiser and ocean racer.

Below deck, the interior accommodates three cabins with two heads, suitable for extended voyages or entertaining. The layout reflects the yacht's design brief, balancing livable space with the performance characteristics required for long-distance sailing. Winter and summer covers have been used to protect the exterior brightwork.

The current owner has maintained the yacht throughout its time in service, preserving the boat's condition for continued use in local and offshore cruising.
