1988 Luhrs Alura

A 30-foot Luhrs Alura with downeaster styling and fiberglass construction, powered by twin Chrysler 318 gasoline engines producing 450 horsepower total. The boat reaches 20 knots at full speed and cruises at 16 knots. Its 10.5-foot beam supports a spacious cockpit designed to accommodate four to six deck chairs and a table, with a distinctive transom dip that provides easy access to the swim platform and swim ladder. Climbing ladders to the hardtop offer additional relaxation space.

The cabin features cherry cabinetry, vinyl upholstery, and a galley outfitted with sink, refrigerator, and microwave. Sleeping quarters include a V-berth and dinette booth, with a separate head and air-conditioning unit. A closet provides storage. The layout comfortably accommodates eight to twelve people aboard.

Systems include twin 55-gallon fuel tanks, a 40-gallon fresh water tank, 25-gallon waste tank, two bilge pumps, an onboard generator, and battery charger. Electronics consist of a new Simrad 9 display. Additional features include a flat-screen television with surround sound system and updated lighting throughout.

The boat is currently in the water and weighs 7,800 pounds dry. Some minor projects remain on the owner's list. The boat performs equally well for fishing, cruising, or extended stays.
