1988 Mainship 36 Double Cabin

This 36-foot Mainship has been maintained exclusively in fresh water. The boat features a proven two-stateroom, two-head layout with the galley and dinette positioned below and the salon above. The upper deck is fully enclosed in canvas added in 2023, creating substantial additional covered living space. The boat includes a swim platform, aft deck, generous walkarounds, a flybridge with helm steering, and a windlass anchor system.

Twin 5.7 Crusader gasoline engines with fresh water cooling provide propulsion, each equipped with approximately 1,100 hours since new. The engines cruise efficiently in the upper teens and reach the mid-20s at top speed. Power and climate control include a generator, air conditioning, and heating split across two zones. Dual helm stations—one on the flybridge and one below—allow operation from either location.

The galley was recently updated with a new sink and faucet, and includes a large refrigerator, two-burner electric range, and microwave. The salon features a flat-panel television. Additional depth-finder instrumentation rounds out the onboard systems.
