The O'Day 322 is a 32-foot fiberglass sloop built in 1988, powered by an 18 hp Yanmar diesel engine. The boat features a notably open interior layout with over six feet of headroom throughout. The forward cabin contains a V-berth with a removable bulkhead section that increases the sense of space, while the aft cabin offers a second private sleeping area with a double berth. The main saloon includes a dinette with a drop-leaf table that seats six and converts into an additional double berth.
The interior is well-appointed with ample storage throughout: overhead lockers, shelves, and stowage spaces line the cabin. The galley includes a stainless steel sink, two-burner propane stove with oven, hot and cold pressurized water, and a water heater. Refrigeration is provided by a 12V Adler Barbour unit with an ice box as backup. Navigation and communication gear includes VHF radio, autopilot, depth sounder, and compass. The boat carries two batteries with a charger and dockside electric connections.
On deck, the 322 is outfitted for cruising with a Harken roller furling jib, self-tailing winches, and all lines led aft to the cockpit. Deck hardware includes a bow pulpit, stanchions with lifelines, bimini and dodger (both recently replaced and maroon in color), sail and helm cover, and cockpit cushions. Additional gear includes custom winter cover, anchor with line, fenders, docklines, and personal flotation devices.
