This 1988 Sea Ray 415 Aft Cabin is a 41-foot fiberglass motor yacht powered by twin MerCruiser 7.4L gasoline engines producing 340 horsepower each, with just over 1,000 engine hours. The boat features a modified-V hull design with moderate beam, built on the same platform as Sea Ray's 440 Convertible. An 8-kilowatt Westerbeke generator provides onboard power, and an extended swim platform with custom stainless stairs installed in 2019 offers safe access to the water.
The layout comprises two staterooms and two heads with showers, along with a comfortable salon, separate galley, and dinette. The galley is equipped with a three-burner stove, microwave, and a combination refrigerator and freezer. The covered aft area provides a protected space for relaxation. Navigation and communication equipment includes a Simrad chartplotter, Raytheon radar, Wagner autopilot, and Uniden VHF radio with DSC.
The boat has been maintained in freshwater and has undergone substantial upgrades over recent years. Recent work includes bridge carpet and cushion replacement, new roller shades, LED lighting upgrades, a new kitchen faucet, and impeller replacement in 2024. A new aft cabin mattress and forward cabin cushions were installed in 2023. In 2021, the interior received a new leather sofa, leatherette chair, recovered dinette cushions, and a stainless steel refrigerator. Electronic systems were upgraded in 2020 with new chartplotter and radar, while various other components including windows, heads, and trim tab controls have been serviced or replaced in recent seasons.
