This 1988 Tayana 52 is a fiberglass sailing yacht with a distinctive canoe stern, modified and extensively updated over the past decade. The hull measures 52 feet in length with a 15-foot beam, powered by a 110-horsepower Yanmar diesel engine with approximately 50 hours of runtime. The stern was custom cut and stepped as part of the owner's refitting program.
Below deck, the yacht accommodates three cabins and two heads. The boat is equipped for extended cruising with a Westerbeke 8-kilowatt generator, water maker, bow thruster, and dual roller furlers with electric winches. Navigation and communication systems include forward sonar, forward-facing night vision, MMIS radio, EPIRB, satellite television and radio, radar, and triple-redundant electronics. An autopilot is installed, along with 200 watts of solar panels mounted on dinghy davits. A washer and dryer combination unit has been added recently.
The water maker requires new membranes and has not been used. No dinghy is included with the yacht.
