The 1989 Blackman Billfisher 26 is a West Coast sportfishing boat built around a spacious cockpit and proven fishing design. Power comes from a 200-horsepower Volvo Penta turbocharged diesel that was comprehensively rebuilt in January 2026 with zero hours logged since completion. The engine features a refreshed cylinder head, heat exchanger, and aftercooler, supported by newly rebuilt starter and alternator, four fresh Group 24 marine batteries, and a Volvo Penta Duoprop outdrive with high-performance propellers. The hull has received fresh bottom paint. A 150-gallon fuel tank supports cruising at 18 knots with fuel consumption around 3 mpg.
Fishing systems define the boat: a 75-gallon livewell with custom cutting board cap, large in-deck fish holds with dividers, and seventeen rod holders including stainless steel rocket launchers mounted on the arch. Brand new Anglers Specialties outriggers and a rail-mounted Magma stainless steel barbecue complement the working deck. A Shurflo Pro Blaster pump handles washdown duties.
Electronics include a Simrad NSS8 Sport chartplotter with integrated GPS and fishfinder, Simrad autopilot with hydraulic steering, and an Airmar through-hull sonar transducer. Navigation aids comprise a Furuno digital temperature gauge and Standard Horizon VHF radio, with XM entertainment radio also installed.
Below, a single cabin offers a V-berth with filler cushion, convertible dinette, high-gloss varnished teak cabinetry, galley with refrigerator and microwave, and a plumbed head. New Lewmar hatches and cabin windows provide updated ventilation. Twin Bimini tops with curtains cover the flybridge and cockpit. The boat comes on a recently serviced triple-axle Aros trailer with 20,000-pound surge-brake capacity.
