This 75-foot motor yacht was designed and built by the owner working with a marine architect and Hill Marine of Seal Beach, California. Launched in 1989, the boat draws inspiration from Italian yacht design and was constructed using cold-molded fiberglass and wood over a plywood core with longitudinal and athwartship reinforcement. The hull and topsides are clad in fiberglass and protected by polyurethane paint. Nonskid painted decks cover most of the boat, with teak on the aft deck.
The yacht accommodates four cabins and four heads. Below deck, a Splendide combination washer and dryer, Jacuzzi tub, and Jenn-Air grill and cooktop are installed. The flybridge design provides commanding views and outdoor entertaining space.
Power comes from two Detroit Diesel engines producing 1470 horsepower total. The electrical system includes dual AC shore power inlets rated at 30 and 50 amps, a Xantrex Pro Sine inverter charger, multiple Lewco chargers, cathodic protection, and extensive corrosion control systems with Monitrol units and battery management throughout.
The owner and his family cruised the boat extensively along the southern California coast for three decades, visiting Newport Harbor, San Diego, and Catalina Island.
