This 1989 Hatteras 52 Convertible is built on the Jack Hargrave-designed hull that defined the breed—a legendary platform known for offshore capability and solid construction. Twin Detroit Diesel engines deliver 1,470 horsepower total. The boat underwent an extensive multi-year refit from 2022 through 2025, including a complete starboard engine rebuild, new professional hull paint, replacement of through-hulls and water lines, new alternators and battery chargers, fresh shaft seals and cutlass bearings, a full bottom job, and comprehensive system upgrades throughout. The flybridge sits atop a fiberglass hardtop with three-sided Eisenglass enclosure and features dual helm chairs, an L-shaped lounge to port, and clean non-skid decking.
