This 1989 Island Packet 35 is a fiberglass cruising sailboat built for extended passagemaking. The boat has had only two owners since launch and was the first 35-foot Island Packet to circumnavigate the globe. She measures 35 feet in length with a 12-foot beam and is powered by a 35 hp Yanmar diesel engine with 500 hours since major overhaul and 4,500 total hours.
The yacht accommodates two cabins and one head. Notable cruising systems include a watermaker, solar panels, wind generator, and reverse-cycle air conditioning with heating. Dinghy davits and life raft are aboard. A hardtop covers the cockpit with full enclosure available.
Standing rigging was replaced in 2012 and exterior chainplates were installed in 2015. The hull has been recently detailed and remains in the classic Island Packet cream finish. Ground tackle is well specified for serious cruising.
