The 1989 Marinette Marquis 41 is an aluminum-hulled motor yacht designed for extended cruising. Built for saltwater use with corrosion-resistant construction, this 41-foot boat combines solid engineering with comprehensive systems for long-range operation. Twin Crusader 454 gasoline engines produce 350 horsepower each and feature recently rebuilt heads and new compression test results showing engine condition equivalent to new. The yacht cruises comfortably at 15–17 knots with a high cruise speed of 20 knots and a top speed exceeding 25 knots. Single-engine operation is efficient, holding 6–8 knots while reducing fuel consumption. The boat steers and handles well in moderate seas and delivers approximately 1 nautical mile per gallon at 20-knot cruise speed.

Below deck, the layout sleeps two couples in walk-around queen berths in a master and guest cabin, with a convertible galley dinette providing additional sleeping space. The galley includes a house-size refrigerator-freezer, induction cooktop, microwave-convection oven, and a recently installed sink. Twin heads serve the sleeping areas, each with shower stalls and vanities. The salon features two tub chairs and a loveseat with ample storage. Brazilian cherry laminate flooring with teak trim runs below; the main deck and aft areas are carpeted. Cabin lighting, curtains, opening portholes, and ventilation support comfortable cruising.

Systems throughout reflect thoughtful long-term cruising capability. A 7.5-kilowatt Westerbeke generator with 500 running hours powers the boat. Dual 2500-watt and 1000-watt inverters support AC appliances and systems. The electrical architecture includes an oversized deep-cycle house battery bank with individual fusing and isolation switches, dual battery chargers, two isolation transformers, and updated DC wiring to current ABYC standards. Shore power runs through a new electrical panel with dual 30-amp inlets. Triple automatic bilge pumps and a central vacuum system support maintenance. Navigation is managed through dual Garmin and ComNav systems with separate antennas, connected to a ComNav commercial autopilot, radar with open array, dual VHF radios with dual antennas, depth sounders, and fish finder.

The deck carries a Lofrans heavy-duty anchor windlass with oversized gypsy, a 73-pound Rocna anchor, and 183 feet of 5/16-inch chain. A bow pulpit, rails, and double anchor roller support ground tackle. The extended swim platform features aluminum steps and enclosed storage beneath. The aft deck is enclosed under a manufacturer-installed aluminum hardtop with wing doors and Isinglass windows.
