1989 Ocean 48 Motor Yacht

This 1989 Ocean 48 is a fiberglass motor yacht with a deep vee hull design built for smooth water performance. Twin Detroit Diesel engines produce 900 horsepower combined, delivering an 18-knot cruising speed and 22-knot maximum hull speed. A Westerbeke diesel generator with 11 hours of runtime provides power for onboard systems.

The yacht sleeps six across three cabins and includes three heads. The main saloon and flybridge offer comfortable gathering spaces. Recent updates include a new flybridge enclosure, bimini top, and forward deck seating covers, all completed in 2024. Cabin door screens were also replaced at that time. The salon windows were newly tinted in 2025, and new carpet was installed throughout in 2024.

Navigation and entertainment systems are current: Garmin GPS/fishfinder, radar, and autopilot installed in 2022, along with a 2022 radar upgrade. Starlink internet was added in 2025, and an upgraded stereo system was installed the same year. Three new cabin televisions were fitted in 2024, with a new salon TV added in 2025. Ground tackle includes a new anchor and 300 feet of chain replaced in 2024, plus a newly replaced anchor bridle that has never been used.
