The Dana 24, designed by Bill Crealock and built by Pacific Seacraft, combines moderate displacement with a high ballast ratio to deliver speed, stability, and sea-kindly cruising performance. The hull design traces its heritage from a family of performance cruising yachts known for their seaworthiness. Underway, she offers the security and safety typically associated with much larger boats, while the full-perimeter bulwarks provide sure footing on deck.
This example is outfitted for serious cruising work. She carries a Yanmar diesel engine and is fitted with a Monitor self-steering vane to support extended passages. The boat has been thoughtfully set up for inside passage and coastal cruising. The fiberglass hull measures 24 feet in length with an 8.58-foot beam.
