1989 Raffaelli Storm

This 1989 Raffaelli Storm is a 46-foot motor yacht designed by Fulvio De Simoni, built with a fiberglass hull and twin Caterpillar 3028 diesel engines delivering 370 horsepower each. The yacht measures nearly 15 meters across the beam, providing substantial space and stability. With low engine hours—under 1,200 total—the powerplants have proven reliable, and the V-drive gearboxes were completely renewed in 2022.

The interior accommodates four cabins across a bright, open plan layout with two heads, a well-appointed galley, and a spacious salon. The salon features a navigation center with plotter, radar, GPS, and autopilot, along with a flat-screen television and CD player. Three captain's chairs surround a teak table, and the galley includes a refrigerator, deep freezer, ice maker, microwave, and hot water system, supported by heating and two portable air-conditioning units.

Deck equipment includes a bow thruster, windlass, hydraulic gangway, and full electronics suite with VHF radio, depth sounder, log-speedometer, and radar detector. A 3-meter Ribaya inflatable dinghy with a new 5-horsepower Suzuki outboard comes aboard, along with a 3-meter floating dock. A 2024 Bimini top and 2022 camper cover with anti-mosquito netting provide weather protection, with additional covers for the cockpit.

Recent maintenance includes a renewed engine cooling system, cleaned heat exchangers, fresh anodes and antifouling in May 2025, a 2020 Victron battery charger, and a 2022 liferaft. The yacht carries dedicated engine, domestic, and generator batteries to support its systems and inverter-based power generation.
