1989 Sabre 30

This 1989 Sabre 30 was designed by R. Hewson and represents the breed of graceful, well-built sailboats the yard produced through the 1980s and early 1990s. The boat features a fin keel with a skeg-protected rudder. She is powered by an 18 hp Westerbeke diesel engine showing 840 hours on the gauge, and is capable of 7 knots at standard hull speed.

Recent maintenance completed in 2025 includes replacement of the driveshaft and stuffing box, along with a fresh bottom paint. The boat carries both newer main and genoa sails, plus backup main and jib sails for flexibility on the water. A single head is fitted below.

The boat was recently sailed across the Gulf, demonstrating her seaworthiness and comfort for extended cruising. She has been sailed locally in regular use, and the current owner has maintained her as an active sailing platform rather than a showpiece.
