1989 Sumerset Houseboat

This 1989 Sumerset houseboat is a 65-foot aluminum-hull cruiser powered by twin Volvo Penta engines producing 260 horsepower. The substantial beam of nearly 14 feet provides the spacious interior typical of the houseboat class.

The sleeping areas retain original carpet, while the main cabin and galley feature engineered wood flooring installed in 2024. The outdoor deck areas are covered with canvas enclosures including upper deck rails and a full front deck canvas cover, with replacement outdoor carpet added in 2023.

The boat was removed from the water in February 2019, at which time both lower outboard drive units were rebuilt. These mechanical components represent recent major service work on the propulsion system.
