1989 Tiara Yachts 3100 Open

The 1989 Tiara 3100 Open is a 31-foot express cruiser with solid fiberglass construction and a 13-foot beam, designed for comfortable cruising and fishing. Twin Mercruiser 454 CI V8 engines deliver approximately 350 horsepower each, with the engines and transmissions rebuilt in 2019 and now showing 230 hours. The yacht achieves low-to-mid 30-knot speeds and cruises comfortably in the low 20-knot range.

The interior features a cabin with teak joinery throughout, including teak and holly flooring, and a front V-berth with a privacy door. Accommodations include a galley with a twin-burner electric stove and microwave, a Norcold refrigerator, and an 11-gallon hot water heater. A 12,000 BTU air conditioning unit provides climate control. Navigation is handled by a new Garmin GPS and radar system with touchscreen display added in 2025.

The cockpit is self-bailing with excellent working space and includes six countersunk Lee pole holders. Recent maintenance and upgrades span the last several years: the radar arch was repainted in 2024, canvas and back shade were replaced in 2020, seats were reupholstered in 2025, and a PSS packless sealing system with water-cooled driveshafts supports the propulsion. The yacht is equipped with a self-bailing design and operates as a solid, well-maintained cruiser.
