1989 Topaz 44 Sportfisherman

The 1989 Topaz 44 is a fiberglass-built sportfisherman with a broad 15-foot beam that delivers stability and confidence across varied sea conditions. Twin Detroit 6V92 diesel engines produce 550 horsepower total and have logged 719 and 204 hours respectively. The boat measures 44 feet in length with a 3.5-foot draft and draws 13.5 feet at the bridge. At 37,500 pounds, she combines offshore capability with accessible cruising performance, backed by robust fuel capacity of 600 gallons split between twin tanks.

Below deck, the layout centers on a master stateroom with an island queen bed and underbed storage, crew quarters with two bunks, and a single head with separate shower. The galley is equipped with a full-size refrigerator and new microwave, while the main salon accommodates a dining area and TV setup.

The flybridge features full enclosure with clear sightlines and operates with a 15-kW generator. A new 16,000 BTU air conditioning unit was recently installed. Electronics include a Garmin 7612 XSV GPS, primary Furuno radar with transducer, backup Furuno radar, satellite weather capability, dual VHF radios, and an engine room camera system.

The cockpit is configured for fishing with in-deck fish boxes, tackle storage, and open working space. A Maxwell RC1210 windlass, full stern controls, and new canvas stern shade complete the setup. The hull and props were recently cleaned and tuned. Some interior flooring and seating remain incomplete and can be customized to the owner's preference.
