This 1989 Trojan International 12 Meter Convertible is a 40-foot fiberglass yacht built for serious fishing and cruising. Twin Detroit diesel engines producing 900 horsepower deliver a top speed of nearly 30 knots and a cruising speed around 22 knots, while the patented Delta Conic hull design keeps the ride stable and efficient. The broad 14.25-foot beam and 3.5-foot draft provide excellent stability and shallow-water capability. Fuel capacity reaches 400 gallons, supported by 100 gallons of fresh water and 18 gallons of waste capacity for extended range.
The layout centers around two cabins and one head. The galley is well-appointed with a refrigerator, freezer, stove, microwave, sink, and ample counter space, with both hot and cold water systems throughout. The large open cockpit features a transom door and swim platform for easy water access, alongside a windlass and bow rails for anchoring.
Navigation and electronics include radar, GPS, chart plotter, VHF radio, and depth sounder, all housed under a fully enclosed hardtop that provides protection in varied conditions. Trim tabs are fitted for enhanced handling. The engines have 1,950 hours of operation.
