1989 Viking 48 Convertible

This 1989 Viking 48 Convertible is a fiberglass sportfish powered by twin rebuilt Detroit 735 horsepower diesel engines. The boat cruises at 23 to 28 knots with a top speed of 30 to 32 knots. The boat features a three-sided enclosed bridge with upper helm and two captain's chairs, along with a spacious salon to port with an elbow-shaped settee and to starboard a large flat screen. The galley to port includes a Kenmore side-by-side refrigerator and freezer, stove, oven, microwave, and stainless steel sink.

Accommodations consist of two cabins and two heads, each with ensuite showers. The cockpit is equipped with a three-position canvas cover that can be configured as a slanted cover, full canopy, or canopy with transom privacy curtain. Three Kettler deck chairs are included. The spacious cockpit layout suits fishing or leisure cruising.

Electronics have been updated with a new Garmin GPS plotter, Raymarine radar, new Simrad autopilot, and a backup Garmin plotter. The sound system is a Bose Bluetooth stereo with speakers throughout. Recent improvements include new washer and dryer, fresh bottom paint applied in May 2026, a new ten-foot life raft, and a Glendinning retractable power cord.
