1989 Wilbur 34

This 1989 Wilbur 34 is a downeast cruiser built on the classic hull design the builder is known for. Constructed by Skip Zahniser in Solomons Island, Maryland, the boat was launched in 1989 and spent its first decade as Zahniser's family yacht before changing hands twice. The interior showcases custom African mahogany and teak woodwork throughout.

The 34-foot yacht accommodates comfortable cruising, fishing, and entertaining. The design includes a flybridge and dark green Awlgrip hull finished in teak brightwork. Power comes from a single Caterpillar diesel engine rated at 320 horsepower.

The brightwork was stripped and refinished with twelve coats of Epiphanes Gloss Varnish, with four maintenance coats applied this spring. The second owner kept the boat under professional care through Bay Shore Marine and Diversified Marine Services during sixteen years of ownership. The current owner has continued regular mechanical and cosmetic maintenance throughout seven years of stewardship.
