The 1990 Boston Whaler Frontier is a 25-foot commercial-grade fishing boat with a fiberglass hull, enclosed pilothouse, and expansive aft deck measuring 10 feet by 7.5 feet. Twin 150 hp Mercury outboards power the boat to a cruising speed of 25 knots and a top speed of 35 knots. The wide beam of 8 feet provides stability and working space suited to fishing, crabbing, or utility work.
This example has undergone extensive upgrades. The engines carry approximately 20 hours of use. Hardware throughout has been replaced with stainless steel, and the pilothouse door features new ball bearings in its track for smooth, quiet operation. Electrical cables have been secured and organized. A new diagnostic display mounted on the dash monitors engine performance and system data. The battery system is configured to allow all three batteries to combine for engine cranking.
The boat comes with an aluminum-frame Venture trailer equipped with new disc brakes on all wheels and Bearing Buddies.
