1990 Custom Carolina 57 Buddy Cannady

A rare 1990 Custom Carolina sportfish built by renowned Carolina boatbuilder Buddy Cannady. Constructed using traditional plank-over-frame methods with Juniper and Atlantic white cedar, the boat was built under USCG supervision and carries a Certificate of Inspection for more than six passengers—reportedly a distinction unique among Buddy Cannady-built vessels. The design combines classic Carolina lines with a walkaround cabin layout suited for offshore fishing, day charter operations, and coastal cruising.

The yacht is powered by twin CAT diesel engines producing 1,430 horsepower combined, with a cruising speed of 22 knots. The boat has undergone extensive mechanical and cosmetic updates over recent years, maintaining the practical, seaworthy character intended for working offshore.
