This 1990 Lowland Netship 97 is a 97-foot aluminum motor yacht built to demanding standards. Designed by naval architect De Vries Lentsch and constructed by the Dutch shipyard Lowland, she combines robust engineering with spacious accommodations across seven cabins and six heads. Twin Detroit Diesel 16V92TA engines—1,400 horsepower each—deliver a combined 2,800 horsepower, enabling a cruising speed of 11 knots and a maximum speed of 17 knots. The 21-foot beam provides the generous proportions evident throughout the layout.
The interior separates guest and crew areas thoughtfully. Four guest cabins accommodate up to ten visitors, including an owner's suite, VIP cabin, and two double cabins with Pullman berths. Three dedicated crew cabins house up to five crew members. The main deck features a large salon with panoramic windows opening to scenic views, a formal dining area integrated into the salon space, and a well-equipped galley with dinette. The flybridge provides an expansive outdoor area for relaxation and dining.
Additional outdoor living includes a large aft deck table with seating for casual gatherings. A hydraulic bow thruster enhances maneuverability in confined waters. A stabilization system reduces motion underway and at anchor, contributing to comfort during passage. The yacht carries a displacement of approximately 120 tons and offers a cruising range of around 1,150 nautical miles.
Built and maintained to American Bureau of Shipping A1 standards, she meets the organization's highest benchmarks for hull integrity and system reliability. This classification places her in the elite category of global classification societies and certifies her for commercial charter operations in both Norwegian and international waters, while remaining equally suited for private use.
