This 1990 Nauset 36 is a flybridge cruiser built to exacting standards by Nauset Marine in Orleans, Massachusetts. Designed by Royal Lowell, it is one of only three examples built with an extended hardtop. The fiberglass hull spans 36 feet with a 12.5-foot beam, delivering the classic downeast profile—seaworthy in rough conditions while maintaining graceful proportions. Power comes from a 375-horsepower Caterpillar 3208 TA turbocharged diesel engine paired with a 1.5:1 twin disc transmission, enabling a comfortable 10-knot cruise with a top speed of 15 knots.
Below deck, the yacht offers two cabins and one head arranged for comfortable cruising. Accommodations include heating and air conditioning, refrigeration, an electric head, and galley facilities. Topside, an electric windlass, dinghy with crane, and shaded flybridge provide practical cruising amenities.
Power generation is handled by both a Westerbeke diesel generator and the main engine's alternator, ensuring reliable electricity under way and at anchor. The boat has been regularly maintained and seasonally hauled for winter storage. All systems—mechanical and electrical—are in working order and ready for operation.
