1990 Palmer Marine 70 Pilothouse

Built in British Columbia in 1990, the Palmer Marine 70 Pilothouse is a 68-foot-7-inch raised pilothouse yacht constructed of fiberglass with a Jack Serin hull and 21-foot beam. The boat features three distinct levels: two enclosed decks and an open sky lounge. Twin Isuzu inline-six diesel engines producing 260 horsepower each (520 combined) power the yacht through V-drive transmissions with triple-blade bronze propellers. A 24-kilowatt generator was installed in 2022, and new transmissions were fitted the same year.

The interior layout includes a full-beam salon with two heads, a commercial-grade galley positioned below deck with buffet service capabilities, and flexible dining and lounge configurations. The top deck offers an open-air sky lounge with unobstructed views. Interior seating accommodates 40 chairs with six large tables, while the exterior deck provides space for 15 chairs and 6–7 tables. The boat is licensed for 75 passengers plus crew.

The yacht underwent a comprehensive six-month refit in 2018 following new ownership, including full exterior repaint above and below the waterline, generator replacement, and modernization of interiors for commercial operation. The boat holds current Transport Canada certification and carries liquor and food distribution licenses. The quadrennial survey has been renewed and annual compliance inspections are current. A scheduled dry-docking is planned within 30–60 days to include bottom paint, hull fiberglass repairs, superstructure repaint, and new anodes.
