The 1990 Post 44 Convertible is a 44-foot fiberglass sportfish with twin Detroit Diesel engines producing 970 horsepower. The boat cruises at 27 knots with a top speed of 31 knots, delivering solid offshore performance backed by reliable power. The hull and engineering reflect Post Marine's established reputation for construction quality.

Below deck, the layout includes two cabins and two heads—an uncommon arrangement for this size. The main salon features classic teak woodwork throughout. Forward, the fishing cockpit is arranged with a transom door, in-deck fish boxes, and a tackle center. The flybridge includes a helm console with good sightlines and seating for eight under a hard top.

The mechanical systems have seen recent attention. The engines were rebuilt in 2020. A Onan 8kW generator with 2,446 hours powers the vessel, supported by two reverse-cycle air conditioning units and a newly installed hot water heater, freshwater pump, and raw water A/C pump. Bottom paint and through-hulls were renewed in 2024. Marine electronics will benefit from upgrading.
