1990 Viking Extended Aft Deck Motor Yacht

This 55-foot Viking Extended Aft Deck motor yacht combines extensive cruising capability with a well-appointed layout designed for both live-aboard comfort and entertaining. Only six of this specific configuration were built, featuring a spacious aft deck accessible via sliding doors in the pilothouse and additional sliding glass doors to the salon. The flybridge offers its own entertainment zone with seating and a table, accessed directly from the main salon.

The accommodations include a full four-cabin arrangement with three heads. The master suite spans the aft section with a king bed, separate seating area, and a private head with full tub and shower served by its own staircase. Three guest staterooms are positioned forward with two additional heads and showers. The galley-up design opens to a spacious salon, and a separate laundry room and walk-in engine room complete the layout.

Twin Detroit Diesel engines deliver 1,470 total horsepower, with a cruising speed of 9 knots and a maximum speed of 15 knots. The fiberglass hull measures 17.33 feet across the beam. Recent work includes a complete 2025 bottom job with new zincs, rebuilt West Mar stabilizers, overhauled rudder shafts and steering system, replaced salon and master stateroom air conditioning systems, new raw water hoses, reconditioned props, new inverter and Trojan batteries, new engine hoses and clamps, and a new starboard starter. Earlier upgrades include a 2024 stabilizer rebuild, 2020 Awlgrip paint, and a 20-kilowatt Onan generator with approximately 1,400 hours.
