The 1991 Bayliner 4588 Pilothouse is a 45-foot fiberglass motor yacht built for extended cruising and comfortable living aboard. Twin turbocharged and intercooled Hino diesel engines, each rated at 250 horsepower, deliver proven reliability, with just 2,250 hours logged. A Westerbeke 12.5kW diesel generator provides independent onboard power. The boat carries 444 gallons of fuel capacity and 160 gallons of fresh water.
Below decks, the layout comprises three staterooms and two full heads. The master cabin features a bathtub, while the galley is fully equipped with a three-burner electric stove and oven, microwave, dual-voltage refrigerator, ice maker, beverage cooler, trash compactor, and built-in blender. A washer and dryer are installed for liveaboard convenience. The open salon features teak throughout with substantial storage.
Recent upgrades include new Furuno electronics with radar, dual chartplotters, AIS transceiver, and autopilot, dual Standard Horizon VHF radios, rebuilt windlass motor, new dinghy winch, remodeled master shower, and fresh bottom paint applied in 2024. New batteries were also installed in 2024. The generator shows fewer than 50 hours of use in the past five years.
The yacht comes equipped with comprehensive cruising gear: a Delta anchor with 150 feet of chain plus a spare Danforth anchor, self-inflating life jackets with GPS transmitters, EPIRB, and extensive spare parts inventory including a spare shaft and propellers. A 10-foot Highfield dinghy with a 20-horsepower Tohatsu outboard engine (under 5 hours of use) is included, along with winter covers and onboard supplies.
