1991 Blackfin 33 Flybridge

The 1991 Blackfin 33 Flybridge is a fiberglass offshore sportfisher powered by twin Caterpillar 3208 diesel engines rated at 320 hp each. Built on Blackfin's reputation for seaworthiness and offshore capability, this 33-foot flybridge design cruises at 18 knots and reaches 26 knots at full throttle. The boat carries approximately 340 gallons of fuel and 80 gallons of freshwater.

The electronics suite centers on four Simrad multifunction displays integrated into a fully networked NMEA system, with autopilot and night vision camera. Engine monitoring uses digital Veratron gauges, and a FloTrac fuel management system tracks consumption with supply and return flow sensors. Navigation is supported by dual VHF radios and an AIRMAR B275C-LHW transducer.

The single cabin and head accommodate overnight cruising, with air conditioning, galley equipment including refrigerator, microwave, and griddle, plus an enclosed head with shower and dual freshwater systems. Saltwater and freshwater washdowns serve the deck and cockpit. The fishing platform features a 115-gallon bait tank with two bait pumps, and the cockpit layout is configured for serious offshore work.

Recent upgrades and replacements include new isinglass, Gator Deck flooring, underwater lights, an 8-person life raft, house battery charger, inverter system, and automatic 2000 GPH electric bilge pumps. A Northern Lights generator provides auxiliary power. Bottom paint was completed in February 2025, and the bilge pumps have been newly installed. The boat includes trim tabs for ride control.
