1991 Bruce Roberts Pilothouse sloop

This 40-foot steel pilothouse sloop was professionally built and designed for extended cruising. The hull, topsides, and deck have been freshly painted. A 50-horsepower Perkins diesel engine powers the boat, which cruises at 7.5 knots and carries over 200 gallons of fuel.

Recent mechanical work includes a new heat exchanger, shaft, water pump, and packing gland. The steering system has been fully serviced, all hoses have been renewed, and the water-maker has been serviced. A survey documenting these updates is available.

Two private cabins and a single head provide accommodation. The galley features SeaFreeze refrigeration and freezer capacity, while a Dickinson heater and 2000-watt inverter support comfortable living aboard. Electronics for navigation and a substantial spare parts inventory complete the boat's setup for extended voyages.
