The 1991 Californian 52 Cockpit Motor Yacht is a fiberglass cruising platform built to the brand's reputation for solid construction and thoughtful design. Twin Caterpillar 3208 diesel engines rated at 425 horsepower each power the boat, supported by a bow thruster for close-quarters maneuvering. The yacht carries comprehensive electronics including Garmin chartplotter, radar, and AIS, plus VHF radio and a Sidewinder bow thruster control system. Solar panels provide 2520 watts of generation capacity, backed by an 8.6 kilowatt Kohler generator.

The interior centers on two staterooms and two heads. The master stateroom occupies the aft section with a full-beam island queen berth, makeup table with mirror, cedar-lined lockers, and an en suite head featuring a shower and bathtub. The forward guest stateroom holds another queen berth and shares access to a second head via bifold doors, allowing private entry from the stateroom. The galley is well equipped with a 4-burner electric cooktop, convection microwave, toaster oven, refrigerator, and separate freezer. Dining occurs at a U-shaped dinette that converts to a bed when needed. The main salon includes a Flexsteel sleeper sofa, 55-inch smart TV, and helm station, with washer and dryer tucked into a passageway.

On deck, the enclosed flybridge features an L-shaped lounge, swivel captain's chairs, and full panoramic views through Lexan windows. Above that, the sun deck spans the full beam with a rattan sofa, chairs, a built-in sink and refrigerator with ice maker, and 22-inch TV. The cockpit below is fitted for fishing with rod holders, a large tool chest, and separate chest freezer. A Lewmar electric windlass with 300 feet of chain handles anchoring duties.

Electrical systems include two 8-D lead-acid batteries for engine and generator starting, twelve 6-volt AGM house batteries, a 3000-watt inverter, and dual shore power inlets rated for both 50-amp 240-volt and 30-amp 110-volt service. Heating is provided by an Espar diesel furnace distributed throughout the boat. The yacht was out of the water at the time of listing.
