The 1991 Carver 3608 is a 36-foot aft cabin cruiser built on a modified-vee fiberglass hull, designed to deliver a soft ride and spacious interior. The boat is powered by twin Cummins diesel engines with 2,316 hours of operation, producing 300 horsepower each and providing a cruising range exceeding 900 kilometers on a single fuel tank. The dual-helm configuration includes a fully enclosed upper flybridge and a lower salon helm, both positioned for excellent visibility and control.
The interior arrangement features two private staterooms—an aft master cabin and forward V-berth—with two full heads including a dedicated shower stall. The salon is open and bright, with large panoramic windows, and connects to a step-down galley equipped with a multi-burner electric stove, oven, refrigerator, and deep sink. A generous dinette booth provides dining and social space throughout the main cabin area.
The yacht carries 240 gallons of fuel, 80 gallons of fresh water, and 60 gallons of holding tank capacity. An 8-kilowatt Yanmar generator powers the systems, supported by seven solar panels with MPPT charging and a robust battery setup for self-sufficient cruising. Climate control includes three heat and air conditioning zones with reverse-cycle capability throughout the boat.
Recent upgrades and equipment additions include new curtains and a new master stateroom AC heat pump installed in 2025, an anchor washdown pump added in 2024, and a custom multi-height dinghy davit system for tender handling. Additional features include hydraulic trim tabs, dual-zone heating and air conditioning, VHF radio, pressurized hot and cold water systems, and dual surround-sound entertainment systems.
