The 1991 Contender 25 Open is a center console built on a fiberglass hull with the beam and proportions that have made this model a favorite among offshore anglers. Twin Mercury 150 four-stroke engines power the boat, each rated at 150 horsepower, and run with approximately 700 hours on them.
The console is equipped with dual Raymarine touchscreen GPS units and a Raymarine dome radar for navigation and weather awareness. A VHF radio and Fusion audio system with JL Audio speakers are also installed. The boat features multiple gel-coated in-deck fish boxes with proper drainage throughout the cockpit.
The interior has been refreshed with new upholstery. The boat has been maintained throughout its life and is described as solid and ready for use. All systems and equipment are functional.
