1991 Forbes Cooper Pilothouse Motoryacht

This 70-foot Forbes Cooper pilothouse motoryacht was built in 1991 under the personal supervision of Forbes Cooper himself. The fiberglass hull spans 18.67 feet at the beam and is powered by twin Lugger diesel engines producing 1,200 horsepower combined. The yacht accommodates five cabins and four heads, making it suitable for extended cruising with family or guests.

The boat carries substantial operational history, with over 110,000 miles logged and more than 13,300 hours of engine time. All lighting has been converted to LED throughout. The yacht includes comprehensive documentation: a detailed 50+ page operations and equipment manual covering all major systems, an electrical wiring diagram, and manuals or parts diagrams for each piece of onboard equipment.

Built with redundant systems designed for reliability in remote waters, the yacht has completed multiple extended voyages including numerous trips through Southeast Alaska, the Gulf of Alaska, and circumnavigations of Kodiak Island, Haida Gwai, and Vancouver Island. The single owner has kept the boat moored in freshwater for at least ten months annually since commissioning, contributing to the preservation of the hull and systems.
