This 1991 Island Packet 38 is a fiberglass cruising sailboat powered by a single Yanmar diesel engine. Built to Island Packet's bluewater standards, the boat features a 48-foot mast and manageable draft suited to shallow-water exploration and extended cruising in varied conditions.

The yacht has received consistent maintenance and multiple upgrades over recent years. New sails were installed in 2015, including both headsail and mainsail. Navigation systems include a Garmin 546 chartplotter installed in 2012. The boat is equipped with gel cell batteries, lazy jacks, and a bow thruster added in 2020. Accommodations include two CruisAir air conditioning units rated at 16,000 BTU each, and a new aft holding tank fitted in 2015.

Mechanical and cosmetic work has been completed recently. The engine received service in August 2021. All hoses were inspected and replaced as needed. The exterior woodwork was refinished in April 2020, and the hull received new barrier coat and bottom paint in 2021. A new dinghy was added in 2011.
