This 1991 Nordlund 68 is a motor yacht designed by Ed Monk Jr., built with a fiberglass hull measuring 68 feet in length and 17.92 feet in beam. She is powered by twin Detroit Diesel engines producing 1,470 horsepower combined. The hull is finished in flag blue, and the boat features a custom hard-sided, three-sided flybridge enclosure built by Superior Marine. The extended cockpit—five feet longer than the earlier 63 model—provides both efficiency and entertaining space.
The main accommodations comprise a spacious salon with large windows and an L-shaped starboard settee, adjacent to an open galley ideal for hosting. Forward lies the pilothouse with dual helm chairs and a U-shaped settee for navigation and relaxation. Below decks are three cabins: a full-beam primary cabin amidships, a VIP cabin forward, and a bunk room with over-under berths. Two heads serve the forward cabins. The engine room offers standup headroom and is accessed from the primary cabin; utility space containing a freezer and washer/dryer is positioned forward of the engine room as a sound buffer.
The yacht is outfitted with stabilization systems including Naiad hydraulic stabilizers, bow and stern thrusters, and a Yacht Controller. Navigation and power systems include Time Zero charting, dual Kohler generators (20kW and 12kW), and a Trace 4kW inverter. A Village Marine watermaker supports extended cruising. The flybridge includes a hydraulic windlass, and the boat deck aft carries a 14-foot Novurania RIB with hydraulic davit crane. Additional equipment includes underwater lights, 400 feet of triple-strand chain, spare propellers and shaft, and recent upgrades to stabilizer seals, anchor windlass, freezer compressor, and navigation electronics including Starlink. A 40-horsepower Yamaha tender is also aboard.
