About This Yacht
The 1991 Shamrock Mackinaw is a 27-foot fiberglass fishing boat powered by a Ford 351 V-8 engine with 250 horsepower paired to a Velvet Drive transmission. Built for serious anglers, the boat features a wide-open back deck with low gunnels, making it well-suited to both inshore and offshore fishing. The transom-mounted live-well includes new pumps and aerator, while a bimini top and snap-on cabin enclosure provide shade and weather protection.
Below deck, the cabin includes a V-berth with a skylight hatch at the bow and a complete head with a pressurized sink. The boat is equipped with VHF radio, compass, and a full suite of navigational displays. Deck features include bow pulpit and rails, cleats, fish boxes, rocket launchers and rod holders, swim platform with ladder, trim tabs with controls and indicator, and an anchor with windlass capability.
The engine and transmission have been rebuilt, along with the fresh water and sea water cooling systems and pumps. A complete refit has been performed on all wiring, plumbing, and systems throughout the boat. The fiberglass deck and hull have been refinished. Mechanical and electrical systems include new bilge pumps, battery switch, fuel gauge and senders, batteries, wiper motors, and cockpit lighting. The boat comes with a trailer that has also been included in the refit work.
