This 1991 Vic Franck 65 Pilothouse is a custom-built motor yacht designed by Ed Monk. She spans 65 feet with an 18-foot beam and is constructed of fiberglass. Twin Man 2840LXE V-10 diesel engines deliver 820 horsepower each, providing a cruising speed of 20 knots and a maximum speed of 26 knots. The yacht carries 1,140 gallons of fuel capacity and is equipped with trim tabs for enhanced stability and handling.
The interior features hand-rubbed hardwood throughout, marble bathrooms, and leather upholstery. The yacht offers two cabins and two heads, with a full-beam salon and master stateroom providing generous owner and guest accommodations. The flybridge and helm station were rebuilt, and the entire boat underwent a complete remodel in 2003 and 2004.
Mechanical and operational systems include two Kohler generators (20kW and 7.5kW), Naiad stabilizers, a 35-horsepower hydraulic bow thruster, and a hydraulic windlass with 400 feet of chain. Additional features include dripless shaft seals, an EZ1000 boat monitoring system, a three-station Halon fire system, an isolation transformer, an electro-guard cathodic protection system, and triple air trumpet horns. All teak decks are fitted throughout. A custom upper helm bimini top was installed in February 2024. The yacht comes with a 13-foot Boston Whaler tender with a 40-horsepower Honda engine and a full set of spare props.
