1991 Viking Motor Yacht

This 72-foot Viking motor yacht was built in 1991 with a fiberglass hull and twin Detroit Diesel 12V92TA engines producing 1,040 hp each. The boat cruises at 16 knots and reaches a maximum speed of 23 knots, powered by reduction gears and equipped with a Wesmar electric bow thruster and trim tabs for responsive handling.

The yacht offers four cabins and six heads across a comfortable layout suited for extended cruising or live-aboard use. Below decks, galley and common areas support full-time operation, while the pilothouse and upper bridge provide multiple helm stations. Accommodation amenities include reverse cycle heating and air conditioning across seven units, a 40-gallon hot water tank, and Jacuzzi capability in the master stateroom.

The electrical plant uses a 48-zone yacht security system, 3 banks of 8D batteries with automatic parallel switch and dual ProMariner chargers, dual 20 kw Onan generators, and an Xantrex 4024 inverter. Mechanical systems include HRO watermakers, vacuum heads, Naiad stabilizers, electric anchor winch with CQR 60 lb. anchor, dual bilge pumps with emergency engine-driven backup, Halon fire suppression, and a 2001 14-foot Novurania dinghy with 50 hp Honda outboard included with davit.
