1992 Contest 43

This 1992 Contest 43 is a fiberglass sailing yacht built by the Dutch manufacturer known for quality construction and seaworthiness. The boat measures 43 feet in length with a 13-foot beam and is powered by a single 65-horsepower Yammer diesel engine.

The yacht underwent a substantial refit in 2016 that included new electronics, a new davit system, and a new water maker. These upgrades support self-sufficient cruising and reflect the owner's commitment to maintaining the boat to a high standard.

The boat has had two private owners and was never chartered. It spent most of its early years in the Netherlands, used primarily for weekend trips and short passages. In 2017 it crossed the Atlantic and has since been cruising the Caribbean, where it currently resides with the owner living aboard and maintaining it on a daily basis.
