1992 Friendship 22

The Friendship 22 is a well-proportioned 22-foot sailing yacht built in 1992 with fiberglass hull and sandwich construction. The design has proven itself over decades of production, with hundreds of examples built and strong resale values. At 32 years old, the boat retains a modern, sporty appearance. Sandwich layup combined with laminated bulkheads and cabin sole reinforcement provide structural rigidity and good insulation.

The deck layout prioritizes crew comfort and safety. The foredeck is spacious with a full anchor locker, and the side decks are generously wide for easy movement. The rig, mounted on the cabin roof, features swept spreaders with all halyards, sheets, and reefing lines led aft to small winches and lever stoppers at the cabin end.

Below deck, the Friendship makes excellent use of a compact footprint. The cabin is bright and airy with longitudinal berths, backrests, numerous lockers, and a large cabin table secured to the mast support. The table rotates and lifts up toward the headlining when not in use. A sea toilet with a sliding door separates from the main cabin and sits beneath the forward double berth. A large sliding hatch provides easy access and ventilation.

The boat has undergone comprehensive refurbishment including new upholstery and curtains, refinished wooden surfaces, and servicing of the sails and engine. Power comes from a 6 hp Ferryman diesel. The yacht is equipped with 7/8 rig, 26 square meters of working sail area, and a 34 square meter spinnaker. A Steinbacher/Lohr SBT 3.2 T trailer is included.
