This 1992 Grady-White Dolphin 251 is a 25-foot fiberglass walkaround built for serious fishing. The boat has been continuously maintained and updated over nearly three decades of ownership. Twin 200 HP Honda four-stroke engines were installed in 2021 and currently show approximately 180 hours of operation.
The boat carries modern electronics including a Simrad Evo3 nine-inch display with 4G radar, two ICOM VHF radios, and a Fusion stereo. Navigation and water management systems include a one-kilowatt through-hull transducer and a ten-gallon fresh water tank with salt-water washdown. The cockpit features newer custom Pompanette captain's chairs, and the boat is rigged with Lee Jr 18-foot outriggers—double rigged with a center rigger—for offshore fishing.
Recent work includes a hull repaint in 2021, with the rub rail replaced and back deck hatches and non-skid renewed in 2023. The hull was soda blasted within the last year with new barrier coats and anti-fouling applied. All through-hull fittings are bronze. The fuel tanks were replaced in 2016 and hold 240 gallons. A hard top with eisenglass enclosure, bow pulpit, and engine bracket round out the setup.
