1992 Hunter Passage 42

The 1992 Hunter Passage 42 is a fiberglass motor yacht built for comfortable cruising with a straightforward 2-cabin, 2-head layout. Powered by a single Yanmar 4JHS-TE 62-horsepower diesel engine paired with a Hurth KBW 20 transmission, the boat draws just 4 feet 9 inches, allowing access to shallow waters and protected anchorages. New Mack sails and Sunbrella canvas including a dodger and bimini top have been installed.

The interior centers on an open salon with a U-shaped galley featuring a double stainless steel sink, refrigerator, and freezer. The forward V-berth includes a private head and shower, while the aft cabin offers a walk-around berth with its own head and shower. Teak and holly sole flooring runs throughout, and a chart table sits within the main cabin.

Navigation and communication are handled by a Garmin 4208 chartplotter, Garmin radar, Raymarine ST6002 autopilot, and Icom IC-M504 VHF radio. An Acurite weather station provides real-time conditions. Electrical systems include six 6-volt AGM batteries, a Magnaline battery charger and inverter, solar panels with controller, and a Kohler 7-kilowatt generator. A macerator system supports the heads, and a davit system is fitted for the included Mercury 3.5-horsepower outboard.
