1992 Hylas 45.5

This 1992 Hylas 45.5 is a German Frers performance cruising design built in Taiwan. The fiberglass hull spans 45 feet with a 13.5-foot beam and draws 5 feet 9 inches, making it suitable for shallow-water anchorages while remaining ICW-compatible with its 63-foot mast. A single 57-horsepower Yanmar diesel engine delivers a cruising speed of 7 knots and a maximum speed of 8 knots.

The yacht accommodates two cabins and two heads. The centerline queen stateroom serves as the primary cabin, while the galley features ample storage and updated refrigeration including both 12-volt refrigerator and freezer units. Two separate heads provide comfort for extended cruising.

The boat is outfitted with modern electronics, solar panels, a life raft, and an EPIRB. A substantial inventory of spare parts is included. The equipment package supports extended offshore passage-making and blue-water cruising.
