The 1992 Luhrs Sport Tournament 300 is a 30-foot fiberglass sportfish with a deep V hull and wide beam, designed for stability and comfort in various water conditions. The boat features a hinged convertible top that allows passage under low bridges, along with a large open deck suited for fishing, diving, and water sports. The cabin includes a galley with refrigerator and stove, a head with shower, dining table, and sleeping berths.
Mechanical systems have been comprehensively updated. Both engines are fresh water cooled with newly reconditioned heat exchangers, new hoses, pumps, and impellers throughout. One engine was professionally rebuilt. New plugs, wires, oils, and filters service both powerplants, paired with new fuel hoses capable of running marine or non-marine fuel. The electrical system features new gauges, switches with backlit dash, wiring to the upper station, and controls at both helm stations. New blowers, sump pumps, trim tab controllers, and head plumbing complete the mechanical work.
The interior and exterior have been thoroughly refreshed. New cabin lighting, courtesy lights, and navigational lights accompany new wiring throughout. The plexiglass, cabinetry, and head fixtures are new, with recovered cushions and new carpet in the cabin. Teak has been refinished, chrome fittings replaced, and the rub rail renewed. The tower frame, bow rail, and windshield frame are powder coated. An eight-speaker stereo system with independent controls is installed.
The boat remains on its own storage cradle and has never been bottom painted, allowing regular inspection and maintenance of the hull.
