1993 Alden 43 Aft Cockpit

The 1993 Alden 43 Aft Cockpit is a composite-hulled racer-cruiser built for both speed and seaworthiness. Powered by a 63 hp Westerbeke diesel with direct drive and a bronze 3-blade Max propeller, the boat handles efficiently under power. An electric windlass aids anchoring operations. The deck layout features minimal teak, reducing maintenance demands.

Below deck are two cabins and two heads, offering comfortable accommodation for extended cruising. The interior is appointed for practicality and rest during time away from port.

The boat underwent a comprehensive refit that included replacement of all standing and running rigging, deck refurbishment, and upgrades to electronics and safety systems. Since acquisition six years ago, the current owners have continued systematic maintenance and equipment improvements to keep all rigging, sails, mechanical components, and systems in working order. The boat has been actively sailed throughout New England waters, including passages to Maine, Martha's Vineyard, and Nantucket.
