1993 Amel Super Maramu

The 1993 Amel Super Maramu is a 52-foot fiberglass sailing yacht built for serious cruising. She carries a diesel Volvo engine rated at 75 horsepower, paired with a full sail plan including a mainsail, genoa, and mizzen, all with electric furling capabilities.

The yacht accommodates two cabins and two heads, laid out for extended passagemaking. Key systems include a water maker, genset, air conditioning, washing machine, and comprehensive cold storage with both freezer and deep freezer. Navigation and autopilot redundancy comes from dual autopilots. Power management benefits from lithium battery storage and solar panels integrated into an arch system.

The engine was recently replaced with a new Volvo D2 75 unit in 2025. Other equipped systems and features support comfortable long-distance cruising operations.
