1993 Catalina 36 MkII

The 1993 Catalina 36 MkII is a fiberglass cruising sailboat built on the proven design of one of the most widely produced sailboats of its era. At 36 feet in length with an 11-foot-10-inch beam, it offers stable, comfortable cruising capability. The boat features an early walk-through transom design, a notable refinement that distinguishes this model generation.

Power comes from a 35-horsepower Universal diesel engine, rebuilt in 2025. The electrical system includes a recently installed inverter/charger and house and start batteries, also refreshed in 2025. Refrigeration was upgraded in 2025 to support extended cruising. A new BBQ unit was added the same year.

The deck carries a dodger, bimini top, bikini, and sunscreens installed in 2025. Polycarbonate windows provide weather protection with visibility. The boat includes davits with a dinghy and outboard for tender operations, along with a canvas cover on the transom. Below, the salon features faux leather furnishings, and a 32-inch television is installed. The boat is rigged for comfortable long-distance cruising with modern conveniences.
